Galantis, GTA, Cakes and DJs reunion at Aoki’s Playhouse

Yesterday’s assistents at Pacha Ibiza could enjoy a few more things that were actually announced, in an unpredictable night with three decent sets and full of improvised appearences. We saw Martin Garrix, NERVO, Carnage and Dzeko & Torres taking the family picture and hyping the show for free.

The main attraction was a multiple B2B between Galantis, GTA, Aoki, Dzeko & Torres and Garmiani from 5 to 6, which resulted to be a funny and experimental set with lots of tempo and genre changes, such as Trap, dirty Electro or Hip-Hop. But before that B2B2B, every announced artist had their own spot, and things went like this:

GTA‘s warm-up proved their versatility, playing mainly groovy house with dirty vibes, showing some Electro bangers and Trap material. They were clearly reserving stuff for the B2B2B (where they were the MVP) and trying not to burn the dancefloor, but they managed to play an acceptable set.  Galantis surprised all those fans who haven’t seem them live before, separating the emotion and sweetness of their productions from the energy and toughness of their live sets, with hard tracks and a lot of mic hype. Runaway’s megahit make them depend on it with the majority of the crowd, but despite of it they still interesting artists to see. Aoki made a functional set from their hits, mic and crowd work, family picture with the army of DJs present, and with Martin Garrix creating a brutal reaction while Tremor was played, and helping Aoki to throw cakes.

So an interesting music content joining forces with surprised and a friendly ambience made a great event in what it’s being a succesful residency at Pacha.
