Lush & Simon and Paris & Simo Revisit A Classic

Eleven years since Mylo‘s release of ‘Drop The Pressure‘, the 90’s house classic is still alive in the ears of many disco lovers. However Italian power-duo Lush & Simon and Canadian house-kings Paris & Simo freshly reworked version may soon change your tune.

Their attempt to recreate the original tracks flare is no small feat, especially with it’s timeless quality. The 4 producers complete recreation of the songs layering and structure has enabled them to re-imagine the songs atmosphere, with the robotic vocals still able to capture the essence of Mylo’s work.

With 3 kicks, the producers send the track through a journey of genres, inducting it with an attacking and dark drop within the first 30 seconds, before fading the energy out and introducing the vocal loop we’ve all come to know and love, carrying it towards a more progressive kick. The melody inserted gives the track its modern edge as well as providing their signature sound fans have come to adore. With a slow down of the tempo, Lush & Simon’s collaboration with Paris & Simo, enters its third phase, creating an electro, pulse-rising build-up towards a repeat of the first drop before drawing away the layers at the end.
