Axwell Λ Ingrosso leave Swedish House Mafia Manager Amy Thomson & Joins Avicii’s Management

We were very recently given a sliver of hope when the infamous Swedish House Mafia’s soundcloud page breathed new life, by uploading a 2 Hour Radio 1 Essential mix from back in the day.  Unfortunately, it looks like the dream is dead for good, as Axwell Λ Ingrosso have left long time manager, Amy Thomson of ATM Artists. Thomson has been the longtime manager of Swedish House Mafia, skyrocketing their success, as well as the relaunch of Axwell Λ Ingrosso.

Though her role as the SWM manager stays in tact, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll see some sort of comeback after this departure. While the true reason as to why the split occurred is still circling the rumor mill, most believe it came forth due to the boat being rocked between the two.  It is thought that the duo is going to join other superstars like Avicii, and fellow swedes, Cazette, with Ash Pournouri, of At Night management.  Pournouri has yet to confirm the allegations, though did recently tell Billboard:

“Nothing is agreed, and I would help them regardless of who they continue their journey with. I have tremendous respect for what Amy has accomplished with them.”

While we can only hope and dream for some sort of surprise reunion, don’t hold breath anytime soon. The SWM project appears to be shelved for a long time, if not ever.
