Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix nominated twice for MTV EMA

Martin Garrix’ two nominations at this years MTV European Music Awards should come as no surprise. Under the guidance and management of Scooter Braun, (the guy who brought Justin Beiber to the forefront and helped his recent electronic experimentation) the young Dutchman has seen exponential increase’s in his sounds spectrum and respect among peers and fans alike. Making a tidy $17 million along the way as is also not a bad thing, especially still being a teenager.

With the MTV EMA’s giving him the possible nod for the Best Dutch Act and Best Electronic Act, the youngsters haul from 2015 may not just include big money, but rather awards as well.

Going up against Avicii, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Major Lazer for the second award, the names alongside Martin Garrix are huge in their own right. Making it all the more impressive that he has already gained recognition from MTV. And with his global appeal and active social media interaction, it’s hard to count out Garrix just yet.
