Susanne Sundfør – Kamikaze (Steve Angello & AN21 Remix)

A few months ago, former Swedish House Mafia member, Steve Angello, gave us an out of left field remix for Jean-Michel Jarre & M83’s already beautiful track, Glory. The remix was a pleasent surprise for most, as it was definitely more of a midnight cruise kind of vibe, and not the ordinary heavy hitting sound we’ve come to know and love.

Well, Angello is back, teaming up with AN21 for a brand new remix of Susanne Sundfør’s track, Kamikaze. It’s a much higher intensity electro remix than the last, and only solidifies the new direction that Steve is going for, breaking new ground and stepping out of the generic “EDM” umbrella that so many producers are following nowadays.

With his debut studio album Wild Youth, set to release on November 20th, he recently sat down with Billboard and spoke on paving a new musical path:

It’s not EDM. It’s dance music and it has vocals, but they aren’t pop vocals and it’s not formulaic.

We’re most certainly excited to hear what comes next from the swedish superstar.
