The Chainsmokers – New York City

New York-based duo, The Chainsmokers, have been on fire lately when it comes to production. Ever since their breakthrough after releasing their platinum hit “#Selfie”, they have not looked back and have just kept pushing forward. The two producers recently released their very first extended play titled ‘Bouquet’, which consists of five total tracks including four previously released ones – “Roses”, “Until You Were Gone”, “Good Intentions”, and “Waterbed”. To cap off their first EP, they included their latest single that represents their hometown, “New York City”.

With the vocals of singer Brittany, who also happens to be the writer of the lyrics, the duo’s newly released song brings so much raw emotion. The instruments behind these amazing vocals also help create a mellow vibe for the listeners. The song consists of a beautifully oscillating progressive drop, which sounds unique but is still a Chainsmokers signature. Every element of the song complements each other perfectly, making it one of their best and most challenging productions yet. With the time and effort they put into creating the song, The Chainsmokers clearly won at the end.
