In celebration of his Axtone label celebrating its 10th anniversary, Axwell has decided to give us some new music and it is stellar.  While over the past year we have been seeing Axwell pairing with Sebastian Ingrosso during his productions and as well as touring, Axwell has chosen to fly solo for his most recent release, ‘Waiting For So Long (Gloria),’ a dedication to his wife by the same name.

‘Waiting For So Long (Gloria)’ has Axwell’s familiar style to it, featuring his powerful sound that has been featured in previous records like ‘Center of the Universe,‘I Am,’ and his legendary ‘In My Mind’ remix.  While the track initially comes off a bit choppy and a lower BPM than what we can usually expect from him, it eventually works itself into a groove and is greatly complemented by some incredible vocals.  As the record progresses, the Swedish producer makes sure to keep you invested by slowing things down and hitting some amazing melodies.  Then once again, for the finale, the track begins to work its way up again finishing with the familiar refrain and beat.  The record is a truly beautiful gift for Axwell to present to his wife.

‘Waiting For So Long’ is due for release, along with the Axtone Ten Box Set, on December 11th.
