Kryder & Dave Winnel have hit major prominence in 2015. Having joined up for one of SIZE Records biggest tunes of the year, “Apache”, it’s reasonable to go into listening to their latest material with high expectations. Both renowned for their groovy, deeper sound throughout the year, David Guetta, Sia & Fetty Wap’s “Bang By Head” receives another infectious infusion of sound.

With the track hitting mainstream radio airwaves over the past couple of weeks, it was only a matter of time until some of the scene’s big guns came in to give their take on it. Removing nearly all the lyrics, the remix turns into a thunderous instrumental. With only Sia’s titled vocal loop remaining, it’s fair to say the track is an alternative interpretation rather than simply a remix.

Fusing heavy piano chords full of volume with tantalizing drum combinations, the heavy atmosphere brings an instinctive head-nodding reaction. With the beat predominant throughout, the rising and falling melodic sequences reflect the numerous layers used and the high-end production the track receives from Kryder & Dave Winnel.

With the leader of the self-titled ‘groove cartel’ already remixing the likes of Adele, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Michael Calfan this year, British label head-honcho, Kryder, pairing up with one of Australia’s hottest talents certainly delivers a smooth result. And with Dave Winnel himself remixing the likes of Axwell /\ Ingrosso as well, along with Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Lost Frequencies and Clean Bandit in 2015, the duo’s experience at remodeling soundscapes is rivaled by very few.

Receiving it’s radio premiere of Danny Howard’s BBC Radio 1 show, the track is set for release very soon! Stay tuned for details!
