Maroon 5 – Sugar (Spencer Brown Remix)

It seems like Maroon 5 are becoming increasingly popular in the dance music scene, with their recent collaboration with Alesso ‘This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf**ker‘ gaining major success, their latest solo single ‘Sugar’ is now being remixed by some noteworthy artists, including US prodigy Spencer Brown. Brown gained large recognition last year through his two releases on Le7els Records with ‘Double Down’ and ‘Chalice’, and following remixes for Cazzette and HNNY, he is back on remix duties and gives it away as a free download.

The track showcases Brown’s progressive style nicely, with his signature plucked chords building nicely throughout and creating a chilled atmosphere. Add in some nice pads and a catchy beat, and this track gives the original the club mix that it deserved. This track will work perfectly at both a chilled pool party or a packed nightclub dancefloor.
