Tragedy strikes MDBP, Oliver Heldens forced to cancel his Pomona gig

Home Uncategorized Tragedy strikes MDBP, Oliver Heldens forced to cancel his Pomona gig

Oliver Heldens is left in a state of confusion and has had to cancel 2 of his shows. Mad Decent Boat Party attendee, Kaylyn Rose Sommer, fell off the cruise ship in what is said to be a freak accident.  The U.S Coast Guard didn’t allow Oliver Heldens and forced the party to dock as a rescue mission went quickly underway.

Ollie’s Pamona gig at the Fox Theatre has now been rescheduled to the 20th of February.

Feeling kinda strange… I'm stuck on this big party boat, because of a tragic incident (a girl jumped off the boat)….

The Frenchman also took time in a Facebook post to offer condolonce to Paris in light of the recent terror attack. It’s also been over 24 hours since Kaylyn’s rescue mission has commenced and we are yet to hear of any developments.

Heldens’ official statement:

“Hi guys, due to the really sad incident aboard Mad Decent Boat Party yesterday the ship was unable to dock in Mexico today as planned by orders of the US Coast Guard, so I cannot currently get off the boat and will not make the show tonight at Fox Theater in Pomona, but we already have arranged a new date for February 20, 2016 with them for everyone who was going to attend. I want to wish my sympathies to those affected by yesterday’s event.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the safe recovery of Kaylyn and to our French family.
