The Exclusive World Premiere of Nexu’s “Year Mix 2015”

Well, dance music fans, it’s been quite the eventful year. Everything from the rise of Justin Bieber in the EDM scene, to future bass and tropical house taking the world by storm – there has been a lot of movements to take place thus far and it’s all leading up to what we’re sure to be a gigantic year for dance music in 2016. One of our favorite parts of the year end, is all of the mash-ups we see come to life for something similar to “A year in review”.

Israeli “Super Group” Nexu, is known for their “Year Mix”, which consists of absolutely beautifully done mash-ups of some of the biggest tracks to grace our ears for the current year. Nexu themselves is composed of a number of top DJ’s from Israel. Rising duo’s Teamworx and Jumperz, newcomer Roc Dubloc, and famed radio show host Hanan L-Alouf all get together to dish out complex music projects, including these yearly gems, and we couldn’t appreciate it more! Dating back to 2013, 2014, and now 2015. with massive support by duo’s like Mark & Kremont and Lush & Simon, the powerhouses have comprised yet another pristine mashup that displays much of the diversity of this year’s dance music era. Everything from big room, to pop crossovers, and even indie hits/ There isn’t really a major dance genre you don’t hear in this 14 minutes of music heaven.

As for this years mix, boy, where do we begin. While there’s no official tracklist available, just by listening to it we can easily pick out major 2015 anthems from the likes of Afrojack, Oliver Heldens, The Weeknd, Tiesto, KSHMR, Valentino Khan, Axwell & Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Showtek & Jack U, just to name a few. Truthfully, that’s only a mere fraction of what you’ll hear through the mix’s entirety and I challenge you to pick out each track and see how many you can come up with.
