An unknown entity that has burst into Monstercat’s plethora of talented producers is back with another release. Karma Fields, which successfully made its Monstercat debut with “Build The Cities”, has joined forces with Danish powerhouse MORTEN to produce their collaboration “Stickup”. Following his releases on labels Dim Mak and Ultra Music, MORTEN comes to Monstercat and brings along his own arsenal of ruthless sounds. In addition, this brand new track is dominated by the vocals of American actress and singer, Juliette Lewis.

Altogether, the seemingly unusual combination of these three artists actually works as proven by this bone-chilling and heart-pounding tune. Lewis brings in her powerful vocals, resonant of her breakout performance in the film “Natural Born Killers”. From the pair of producers, the track consists of a series of dark and emphatic sounds that nicely complement the vocals. Following the mind-boggling buildup, a wave of brutal basslines then enters; vibrating every little part of our ears.

“Stickup” is out now and you can grab a copy here. Along with this release, a remix from English dubstep group Modestep is included as well, which took the original mix to entirely new heights.

You can also check out the track’s music video below, in which creative programmer and visual artist, Raven Kwok, provides its eye-opening images.
