Following a year full of talented DJ’s hosting our podcast, We Rave You Radio kicks off 2016 with one of the most renowned artists around the world. Supported by the likes of Avicii, Tiësto, and Axwell in the past, this Turkish and German DJ/producer has emerged as one of the top electro and progressive house masterminds in the business. Therefore, We Rave You is proud to present Deniz Koyu as our special guest on this show, assembling together quite a stunning one-hour mix.

With several hits under his repertoire, such as “Tung” and “Follow You”, Koyu has been greatly recognized for his numerous eye-opening releases. Along with his remixes of the likes of Zedd’s “Spectrum” and more recently, Nick Martin’s “Red Lion”, his music speaks for itself and has garnered him so many fans as a result. Aside from his own productions, Koyu certainly knows how to put together a show. Whether he is performing live somewhere around the world or mixing music for his weekly ‘Soundcheck Radio’ shows, Koyu always delivers the best sounding tracks from past till present.

For this We Rave You Radio guestmix, Koyu kicks off the show slowly with Lifelike and Kris Menace’s original rework “Discopolis 2.0”. Right off the bat, the mix takes us to a state of euphoria as this opening track brings us through an astonishing melodic ride. With the tempo turned up, the mix transitions to Riton & Kah-lo’s track “Rinse & Repeat”. Its underground deep house sounds should undoubtedly get the party started and its high-octane energy should only carry throughout the entire mix. The deep house tunes also continue with the next track from Bixel Boys & Poupon titled “Ain’t Your Girl”.

Switching gears to a future Spinnin’ Records hit, Koyu then plays Joe Stone and Ferreck Dawn’s upcoming release “Man Enough”. With its gorgeous vocals and its up-tempo house beats, the pace has evidently increased as we move on to Me & My Toothbrush’s track “Gold Member”. With its funky basslines and disco-inspired sounds, the groove has certainly begun within Koyu’s guestmix. The next track from Robbie Rivera and Bob Sinclar called “Move Right” keeps the groove alive and the energy flowing as well as NEW_ID’s edit of Uffie’s classic track with Pharell Williams called “ADD SUV”.

Hard-hitting progressive house sounds ensue with The Cliqque’s track “Delta”, which is followed by HI-LO’s recent single “Ooh La La”. A track called “X-Press” from an unannounced artist is played afterwards, which consists of a tech house style and an oscillating scratchy beat. Khrebto’s future house production “The Mad Citizens” is the next track, which deliver a vast amount of power from start to finish. Uplifting melodies and well-designed plucks are then heard from Jonas Aden’s progressive masterpiece “Temple”.

Felguk’s recently released track “Dance to the Beat” alongside Lazy Rich then follows and brings up the energy to its highest peak once again. Featuring a monstrous bassline and a beautiful reggae fusion, this track has the right amount of punch to blow the roof off any place. As his concluding song, Koyu plays one of his releases from 2015 titled “Sonic”. With its astounding melodies and progressions, we could not have asked for a better track to close the mix up.

With an eclectic selection of tracks, from deep house to progressive and everything in between, Koyu has clearly put together quite an unbelievable mix. From start to finish, the energy was consistent and the music quality was top-notch as we would expect from one of the best DJ’s and producers in the industry.
