BLOQSHOT – Redshift

Ever since it has started it’s establishment and evolution as a label, there seems to be no stopping for Dyro’s WOLV project. Creating a wolfpack of storts, the Dutch label has taken a flurry of artists under its wings. Age seems to be a mere number, when talents who are merely 14 and 16 years old, appear in the label’s releases. And keeping that sentiment close to heart, the recording label invites one of Hardstyle’s greatest and one half of the then Noisecontrollers duo, Arjan Terpstra.

After separating in 2013, Arjan started off as BLOQSHOT some 2 years later to explore and expand his sound into other sub genres. And he hit the nail right on the head with ‘Photon‘, which was a funky hard-hitter – released on WOLV itself. And he returns now, with ‘Redshift‘. The track takes from his older genre of operation and is decorated with the sound of the new. Featuring trap beats, snappy vocal snippets and an exciting pull, the preview does little to what the heart desires.
