David Guetta has definitely had his ups and downs all throughout 2015. Despite being one of dance music’s biggest game-changers, the Frenchman did receive a lot of criticism last year, namely being accused of copyright infringement. These downfalls did not prevent Guetta’s dominance, however, as he was still able to accomplish many things including a platinum record for his massive hit with Afrojack, Nicki Minaj, and Bebe Rexha called “Hey Mama”.

Guetta may not have had the best year but he does finish 2015 on a high note. One of BBC Radio’s biggest shows, “Diplo & Friends”, had the longstanding DJ as a special guest who delivered a rather impressive two-hour set. Diplo invites Guetta, who he referred to as one of his most supportive friends, to take over the latest episode and it certainly set fireworks going into the new year.

Guetta delivers quite an eclectic mix, playing numerous crowd-pleasers ranging from future house to progressive house to electro house and everything in between. His new track titled “Pelican” and his production with Showtek and Beardyman called “The Death of EDM” are played throughout the mix. Other tracks from his fellow producers such as Chuckie, Tiësto, Lucky Charmes, and Diplo take part in the mix as well. Overall, with such a constant flow of energy and a superb selection of tracks throughout the set, Guetta’s performance in this episode should get everyone dancing and jumping wildly.
