Eric Prydz teases new album in latest Beats One mix

Eric Prydz’ Beats One show has been one of the hottest dance music radio shows over the past number of years. The Swede recently announced that his debut artist album “Opus” would be released at the start of February, and Prydz has decided to build anticipation for the release by teasing us with a few track off his new record.

His latest Beats One effort opens with the mighty “Matrix”, one of said tracks from his album, a cracking progressive tune, and much like most of his material, it puts you in a complete trance. The second exclusive is the monstrous “Gavioli”. We get a few more beauties throughout the mix such as “Tribute to Stockholm” and the Prydz mix for this week is a cracking set live from Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver at the start of the year. Prydz is the undisputed king of progressive house, and this album is only cementing his place as such. With the Beats One mixes we really are being treated to the massive Prydz archives.
