Over the past months, Rezz has been making waves in the techno world with her incredibly dark, moving beats.  She has been compared to one of Techno’s greats, Gesaffelstein, and has garnered support from HARD Records head, Gary Richards aka Destructo, playing at Hard Day of the Dead. Currently, she is joining him on his Ship2Ship tour, prepping for February’s Holy Ship. Not a bad beginning to a career for someone who is barely old enough to drink.

The young Canadian recently dropped her new four track EP titled “The Silence is Deafening” on Mau5trap records.  Let me tell you, it does not disappoint.  Opening the EP, Rezz partners with Delaney Jane to create “Lost,” a thumping record that sends chills down your spine.  The beats that Rezz creates partner remarkably well with the vocals from Delaney Jane.

Another highlight on the EP is “Edge,” a record that truly illustrates the influence one of her idols, Gesaffelstein.  The hard hitting bass drives the beat while some haunting synths drive the track forward.  The melody sticks with you and leaves you wanting to listen to it over and over.

After rising to fame, Rezz has illustrated that she has the chops to be able to stay at the top.  Her “The Silence is Deafening” EP illustrates her incredible production skills and proves that she is someone to watch over the next few years.  The EP is available now on Beatport and iTunes.
