Along with the release of the highly anticipated second chapter of his album ‘Wild Youth’, Steve Angello provides another gift for his fans to enjoy with a recent set on BBC Radio 1’s Residency. Throughout his career, the Swedish icon has been known for delivering the best music in his sets and this particular two-hour mix is nothing short of amazing.

To kick off the show, Angello plays one of the songs from his recently released album called “Stockholm Skies”. Setting the tone for the entire mix, the track brings out an emotional roller coaster ride right from the get-go. Remixes from the likes of Solomun and Maceo Plex then follow as well as Angello’s exclusive track from Magic Sword titled “Legend of the Keeper”, which is set to be released on Size Records.

About halfway through the mix, Angello also plays a couple of mashups from one of the most legendary artists of electronic music Daft Punk. Prior to playing some of Daft Punk’s prominent tracks such as “Around the World” and “One More Time”, Angello reveals that the French duo is one of his biggest inspirations and that he has nothing but love for them.

Following this segment, tracks such as Nomnom’s recently released single “Ok”, Zonderling’s deep house tune “Crazy For You”, and M.E.G. & N.E.R.A.K.’s massive track “Renaissance” are also played. To conclude this incredible set, Angello saves the best for last with another song from his album, “Someone Else”, and a special track called “Free Your Mind From Me” from Swedish producer Sailor & I.
