Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s hit, “Lean On”, was undoubtedly one of the biggest tracks of 2015. This is proven by the numerous charts the song has topped, including Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. In fact, since August 1st, it has been on the top of the mountain for 23 consecutive weeks going into the new year. Falling short of breaking the record set by Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” for the most consecutive weeks, “Lean On” has recently been taken out of the #1 spot.

Following the 23-week domination, The Chainsmokers‘ song titled “Roses” takes over the top spot of Billboard’s chart. Ever since its release last June, “Roses” have garnered massive success with about 59,000 downloads and about 5.7 million streams. This is the New York-based duo’s second chart-topping song after “#SELFIE” claimed the top spot for two weeks in 2014. With this achievement, The Chainsmokers also become one of only five acts to get on the chart’s top spot twice since 2013.
