Dannic & HIIO – Funky Time

The South American duo, HIIO have teamed up with Dutchman Dannic to produce a hard-hitting electro house record that’ll have you believing in mainstage house again. Their track, ‘Funky Time’ marks the inauguration of Dannic’s new record label, Fonk Recordings. Premiered on Dannic’s radio show Front of House, fans have been eager for the down-low on this energizer bunny of a track.

HIIO met Dannic in 2015 at Tomorrowland’s Brazil edition and have only managed to hit the studio until about a month ago. The collaboration sees a combination of artists who know how to rock a crowd and the result; Funky Time, promises to deliver on its title.

Strong drums and electro house synths make for a promising buildup; while underlying snares foreshadow a powerful chorus. The drum and bass line are crafted beautifully to create a groove infused rhythm. A brilliant mixture of progressive, electro and groove, this track is a ticking time bomb set to catapult Fonk Recordings into the big leagues.
