Avicii and Skrillex set to perform for Super Bowl 50

The worlds greatest sporting show suitably deserves the worlds greatest current musical artists. So the series of concerts celebrating the 50th edition of the iconic American football game and adding to the hype of Beyonce and Coldplay half-time performance, was always going to brings in some of the music industry’s biggest names.

With these satellite events all over hosting city San Franscico, the caliber of talent from the EDM sphere and related genres heading to the Bay area is more than impressive. With Skrillex and Avicii being joined by Fall Out Boy, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Metallica and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers all in town, San Francisco residents are in for a musical treat this weekend.

Avicii is set to perform at a Rolling Stone party on Saturday night while Skrillex is due to perform the same evening at go90 Live, an event offering free first-come-first-served tickets.

And with the continued growth of EDM under the music industry’s spotlight…who knows, maybe one of our very own will feature at the half-time show one day. And we’ve certainly got a list of artists to recommend…
