Julian Calor – Revive

Following his massively successful 2015 that saw him release his debut album ‘Evolve’, the mega-talented Julian Calor is looking to continue this momentum into the new year with his latest track ‘Revive’. The Revealed Recordings regular is back on Hardwell’s label to deliver yet another quality progressive house production, and following in the footsteps of his most recent release entitled ‘Power’, looks set to become the Dutchman’s fourth Beatport Top 10 in under 12 months.

The track itself adopts a more ethereal tone than its predecessors, but still retains the colossal beats that Julian is becoming known for. With atmospheric chords and nice chopped vocals combining with a trap-styled beat during the break, the snares soon kick in and bring us to the electric drop. The raw lead synths are delivered through an intense euphoric melody, which is underpinned by the rippling bass line. As expected, Julian’s production techniques are top-notch in this impressive track, and if this is anything to go by, we can expect big things from the talented producer this year.
