After a tough number of months for the German streaming platform Soundcloud, involving various different lawsuits with record labels, the site recently announced that it had struck a deal with a number of said labels which would allow more freedom in terms of their copyright policies.

Things seem to be looking up for the site, and they’ve now recently added a Top 50 feature called “Charts” which will appear in the users home page and allows them to discover the top tracks in over 30 genres from music charts to podcasts and other audio related sections such as ebooks. This much needed feature will expand the exploration capabilities of the site, and for a company who started as one of the biggest audio streaming sites around, it will help to cement their place at the top and will remain at the forefront for musical discovery.
