Spinnin’ Records is The Netherlands leading music label. Arguably the global hub of dance music, it comes as no surprise their reign as the worlds leading dance label has continued after their performance in 2015.

Winning the award for best dance label for the 3rd consecutive time at the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) in Miami last week, Spinnin’ Records was also declared winner in a number of other categories including Best Global Music Label, again for the third consecutive time.

In another positive for the label, their CEO, Eelko van Kooten, received an IDMA for Best Music Label Executive. And with the label’s hotly-tipped Dutch DJ duo, Mr. Belt & Wezol, wining an IDMA for Best Break Through Artist (Following in Oliver Heldens footsteps), it rounded off an impressive night for the Dutch powerhouse.

Renowned as one of the highlights of the annual Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Miami, the IDMA ceremony is also the longest running awards event completely focused on electronic dance music. Acting as the 31st edition of the awards ceremony, the event took place with a special show at the Shelborne Wyndham Grand on Miami Beach, near the Ultra Music Festival set-up.

During the Miami Music Week, Spinnin’ Records turned several heads as it presented the 5 day event “Spinnin’ Hotel”. Located at the luxurious Nauilus Hotel at Miami Beach, it featured a pool party everyday from Wednesday to Sunday, receiving headlining artists like Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, Bob Sinclar, R3hab, Sam Feldt and many others exercising their talents throughout the week.

And while fellow nominated labels such as Defected, Revealed and Armada are not to be forgotten, along with the likes of Size, Axtone, Protocol and numerous others, 2015 was once again a dominant year for Spinnin’ Record and its expansive dance music empire.
