Arty – Patriots

It’s an assured combination for an absorbing musical delight when a new Arty track gets a release on Above & Beyond‘s Anjunabeats. Returning to the label which kick-started his now glorious career, the Russian DJ & Producer was bound to land another track for 2016 after providing a remix for the League of Legends track ‘Worlds Collide,’ which we had reported about here and another one for Axwell’s ‘Gloria,’ reported here. All this of course comes after the release of his 14-track album ‘Glorious‘ which featured all solo tracks, only assisted by singers/songwriters in half of them. And now as 2016 is quickly gathering pace, he showcases the very talent that we’ve all recognized in him in the shape of his new release ‘Patriots‘.

The track, a typical Arty production, doesn’t fail a bit to capture the listeners imagination off guard. Starting softly with heavily reverb on the beats, the track’s beauty is only introduced by the mesmerizing chords which are seamlessly entwined with flanging vocal snippets. The progressive build-up leads to the Arty-esque record’s melodic statement and justifies the Anjunabeats release, fitting straight into the label’s familiarity with Progressive Trance tracks. Packed with an absolutely smashing melody from Arty’s production desk, ‘Patriots’ adds to another top notch release in the Anjunabeats shelf.
