There still remains a breed of artists and producers who have a special way of expressing emotions through music -such that the music alone sends shivers down your spine. And in the vast sphere of Electronic Dance Music, many of them are undoubtedly splattered across labels such as Axtone, Size, Revealed, Protocol and likes. One such lethal combination is that of true raw studio talents Tom Staar and the Swedish DJ & Production duo of Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, consisting of Dimitrios Vangelis and Andreas Wiman. A collaboration was widely awaited and now that it sees the light of the day in the shape of ‘Empire,‘ the record has got everyone on the edge of their seats.

Both the artists have had their attempts at creating masterpieces for fans and festivals alike. Tom Staar’s single ‘Bora‘ and a collaborative effort with rising duo of Still Young in the shape of ‘Wide Awake‘, both from 2015, stand out among his productions from last year and affirms his widely accepted position as one of the top producers in the industry. On the same note, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman have not been behind in providing healthy competition. And with the launch of their own label ‘Buce Records combined with the release of ‘Zonk‘ on Size and ‘Running‘ with Ron Carroll on Buce Records, the duo from Sweden are actively evolving and innovating to stay at the top of their game.

And with this recent past, ‘Empire‘ comes across as the perfect production as the third release on the promising Buce Records. Combining the colossal workforce of Tom Staar behind the production desk with that of theirs, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman seem determined to make this a big release on their label just by its sheer quality. Soft piano chords carried across by progressive notes, the song is without doubt one of the top drawer progressive records to head out this year. Packed with a mesmerizing melody, which is a quintessential feature of most singles from Tom Staar and Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, the track utilizes violin and chorus snippets to its advantage adding to its meliflious nature and thus rendering it a joy to anyone’s ears. Ever since the main stage preview at the 2015 Ultra Miami by Steve Angello, the track has kept everyone waiting and as the dates close in, the excitement doesn’t seem to pipe down.

The track is set to be released on the 8th of April on Buce Records.
