KURA & Mike Hertz – Gotham

KURA is dutifully consistent with releasing one banger after the other lately. After some solid hits like “Makhor”, “Collide”, “Namek”, and “King Kong” alongside Dutch producer Tony Junior, the Portuguese teams up with Mike Hertz this time to return with another single titled “Gotham”.  To celebrate his 500k mark on Facebook, KURA decided to release his new track for free. Getting off the starting blocks for Miami Music Week 2016, where he will among others perform at the Spinnin’ Records party on March 16th, KURA is ready to live up to his success from 2015 and excel himself one more time.

The intro of “Gotham” reminds undoubtfully of another Bigroom track. However, the track stands out through anthemic builds and pungent percussion at the drop, which make way for a steady, heavy record that vigorously kicks throughout with a thumping rhythm. The breakdown offers a hard hitting melody, which grabs the full attention of the listener and tosses him towards the second drop. Precise and powerful, the tune shows a staying power that will serve the Portuguese well through 2016.
