Alesso is finally back on our airwaves. Having reaped success from his debut album last year, the Swedish maestro is firmly establishing his reputation in the industry once again.

Having been quietly in the underworld of studio production, touring and performances, Alesso has been far from new headlines in recent times. With his re-emergence including being part of the Swedish contingent at the Flying Dutch Festival later this year in June, alongside the likes of Avicii and Steve Angello, Alesso is tipped to continue his momentum built over the last few years in 2016.

Returning to the headlines with a collaboration with fellow Scandinavians Nico & Vinz, the mass appeal of Alesso is apparent once again. Attracting some of the mainstream music scene’s biggest names, it is refreshing to see his name and hear his radio-friendly productions once again after successful remixes of One Republic and tracks such as “Cool”, “Sweet Escape” and of course “Heroes” in the past 18 months.

Occupying a more gentle space on the dance music spectrum, the young DJ/Producer has finally released the full length preview of his latest track “I Wanna Know” on Spotify and various teasers on social media. Largely led by the Danish-duo’s soulful vocals and lyrical overlay, Alesso provides an instrumental compilation of layers, delicately constructed for a satisfying output.

Providing vibes more on the tropical side, than the festival scene, the softer side of Alesso is ever-present throughout the track. Joined by some of the most artistic artwork from his portfolio to date, you get the sense Alesso could be changing direction slightly. Destined either way to play a major part of his sets and performances his summer season, you can be sure to here “I Wanna Know” in abundance over the next few months.
