Alesso – I Wanna Know (Deniz Koyu & Alesso Remix)

Alesso’s most recent single “I Wanna Know” alongside Norwegian duo “Nico & Vinz”, was something that could be called a “stand-out”. For this slower number, the 24-year-old anthem maker stepped away from his usual big room synths and main stage melodies and replaced them with a more mellow composition which emphasizes a catching guitar melody.

But Alesso wouldn’t be Alesso without his distinctive good-mood-emanating signature melodies. To remix his own track, he teamed up with fellow heavyweight Deniz Koyu to deliver a modified version of “I Wanna Know”. Deniz Koyu doesn’t drop an original production every day of the week but when he does, the Turkish big room producer doesn’t tend to strike lightly.

Their combined effort is the kind of quality music that predates the industry’s burning desires to make radio-friendly headway. The rich key work and building melodic precision eventually takes the form of another immediately memorable and blissfully uplifting apex from Koyu – a man who continues to champion the less-is-more approach with unprecedented precision. It’s a remix with depth, soul and substance, all of which collect to form yet another remarkable production from two of the industries most respected artists.
