When one mentions Axwell, tens of thousands flock to see how the topic relates to the Swedish maestro. Today marks the 3 anniversary since one of his most distinctive and iconic tracks came to formal fruition, releasing on his own label, Axtone, after his Swedish House Mafia hay-day.

Premiered by Pete Tong on his renowned BBC Radio 1 show, it rightfully featured as the esteemed Radio host’s ‘Essential New Tune’, also garnering support from the likes of Zane Lowe and Danny Howard. Coming off the back of SHM’s final world tour, Axwell returned to the scene in emphatic style.

Coming in the radio-catered version and his ‘Remode‘ version, Axwell’s timeless masterpiece managed to provide for the spectrum of listening settings. From the club scene and the main stage’s of festivals, to house party’s and late night drives, the label-leader delivered evidence of his endearing talent in epic fashion.

Head-turning for all the right reasons, Axwell’s production skill set demonstrated a masterclass. Combining infectious and heartening vocals from Magus Carlson with vibrant rhythms and pulsating under tones, “Center Of The Universe” lays a platform of melody, beat, synth and FX for all to immerse in. With the layers integrating, playing off each other and leading into one another’s mood, the atmosphere provides a unified feeling before the lyrical impact.
