Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso’s legendary house classic “Together” is 11 years old today

11 years ago today, Axtone Records made it’s first ever release. A label that’s been slowly built on the key principles of heart, emotion and goosebumps, without doubt they are one of the biggest and best label’s in the business, constantly putting out top quality records and always keeping ahead of the curve. The label’s first release was a record entitled “Together” by an (then) up-and-coming duo of producer’s known as Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. 

“Together” was a shot of house vibes and provided a breath of fresh air into house music at the time. Opening up with a lovely house rhythm and bassline, the track quickly explodes into a straight up groover with those infamous vocals that were just so unforgettable that they’re still regularly used by the pair today. The breakdown is where this track really takes shapes with a unique organ-like sound building up before the tracks climaxes into an all out banger.

This is the record that started it all for the legendary label of Axwell, and it has since gone on to create some of the most memorable and emotional house music out there with tracks like Heart Is King standing out proudly amongst the rest of dance music as something unique, something different and something full of heart. Let’s hope Axtone and indeed the Professor Axwell never lose their touch.
