Orjan Nilsen vs KhoMha – Los Capos

The long anticipated collaboration between the trance furies Orjan Nilsen & KhoMha is finally a fact! The two premiered the track during #ASOT750 in Utrecht, where the Norwegian trance Viking made a surprise appearance on the Mainstage during the set of the Colombian upcoming superstar last February. Since then the collab has been a subject of discussion between fans all across the globe and is subjected to be one of the tunes of the year.

“Los Capos” was initially released as part of the yearly A Trance of Trance Compilation by Armin van Buuren earlier this year, however the immense response from fans earned them a single release on Armind today, May 27th.

The collaboration is what I like to call – best of both worlds. Orjan Nilsen is undoubtedly one of the most versatile artists in the scene, having completely mastered the art of thrilling melodies and “Los Capos” is one of the many proofs of that. On the other hand, one of the quickest rising stars in Trance – KhoMha, has finely complimented the tune with what he knows best – a very powerful, driving, hardstyle-inspired bassline. Both producers have worked in complete harmony to deliver what is expect to be one of the most played tunes during the upcoming festival season, while keeping it possible for every fan to easily distinguish the touch of each.

This is not the first time that both names have been seen together, as KhoMha took over remix duties of Orjan’s “Endymion” at the end of 2015, released as part of Nilsen’s “10 Years at Armada” EP series. The latino’s work received vast recognition from fellow producers, who made the track part of their sets for months. The continuous success of the joint work between both is a guarantee that this collaboration is only the start of what these two will keep putting on the table in the future.

Earning itself a “Tune of the Week” title on yesterday’s #ASOT765 by Armin van Buuren, “Los Capos” is one of those that will get you dancing anywhere you are. To celebrate the release, both will be taking over Armada Music’s Instagram on May 27th, to show what their life looks like when not on tour.
