Don Diablo – Drifter ft. DYU

House music maestro Don Diablo just keeps on blowing people’s minds with his always astounding signature sounds. Especially with his gems from last year, such as “On My Mind”, “Universe”, and his collaboration with Tiësto titled “Chemicals”, Don Diablo constantly brings his A-game to the table in terms of producing awe-inspiring music.

Recently, the Dutch producer slowed things down with his uplifting deep house tune called “Silence”, which received heavy support from both his fans and fellow producers. Keeping the momentum going, Don Diablo followed up with a more fast-paced track titled “Drifter”. The single features the lively vocals of DYU, or Dominique Young Unique, who is also known for her performance in DJ Fresh and Diplo’s “Earthquake”.

Speaking about his newest release, Don Diablo stated:

“After the release of my single ‘Silence’, which is all about taking things a lil’ slower, I wanted to make a record that makes you want to drive faster. A record that wants to make you put the peddle to the meddle. I really wanted to work with Dominique Young Unique on this one, as I knew her vocals would give even more speed to the song. We wrote the lyrics based around the feeling you get when you’re in a fast car, speeding on the highway. Really excited for the video as well which will, obviously, contain some very dope cars!”

With its non-stop delivery of high-octane energy, “Drifter” will surely be a massive anthem this summer. Don Diablo’s signature house sounds sends out the blissful vibes that would make anyone dance to the beat and with the addition of DYU’s vocals, the track is certainly a thrilling car ride from start to finish. Already having the support of the likes of Armin van Buuren, Oliver Heldens, and Afrojack, this release can be expected to dominate any upcoming festival this year.
