Melodic masterminds Avicii & Otto Knows have a connection that dates back well before the dance music industry had reached the heights that it has achieved today – they pair have been friends since they were in the same class in junior school. And whilst it may have taken all this time for them to hit the studio together, we’re hoping it was worth the wait, as the two Swede’s have just announced that their collaboration ‘Back Where I Belong‘ will be released this Friday.

Avicii might have retired from touring, but that hasn’t stopped the Swede from making music. With more free time to work on productions, this may be the first of what is hopefully a string of new releases from the iconic producer, who’s track ‘Superlove‘ celebrated its four year anniversary this week. Whilst this will be Otto Knows’ most recent release since the success of ‘Dying For You‘, which saw the Swede join forces with America’s most sought after modern violinist Lindsey Stirling, as well as feature the equally impressive vocals of Alex Aris.

Although there is no official preview of the track just yet, we are waiting in anticipation for Friday’s release.
