€2 million confiscated from famous Amnesia Ibiza nightclub

Police have recently discovered €2 million hidden throughout components of the international nightclub, Amnesia Ibiza. Raided during a totaled 48-hour interrogation, local news Diario de Ibiza released that authorities entered the venue with “Pick axes and other tools to find hiding places in the offices of Amnesia”. Under surveillance since 2015 for suspected tax dispensaries, the recent bust isn’t the only thing police have confiscated.

Magnetic Magazine  also confirmed “authorities have been seizing assets from the suspects’ homes and various banks in Ibiza where authorities are going through security boxes as well as looking into the suspects’ bank accounts.”

Amnesia and it’s owners have yet to give an official statement regarding the incident, but the venue itself is still open for business.
