Arno Cost is no stranger to the dance scene, however might as well be one of the most underrated names in the industry. The Parisian wonder-child started making a name of himself in 2006, being one of the creators of some of the melodic hits which shaped the progressive house genre you can hear today. His unique French background-inspired, disco-infused, melody-oriented work has proven to be a recipe for success, gaining him a massive fan base around the globe.
Earlier this year, Cost released a 2-track EP called “Coming Alive”. Shared through his home Protocol Recordings, the title track received vast recognition across the globe. Featuring the mesmerizing vocals of singer River, the tune brought back the original sounds of the true progressive house. “Coming Alive” was also featured in the yearly compilation by the label titled Protocol pres. Miami 2016, mixed by Florian Picasso & Blinders.
Nearly half a year later, the remix package was unveiled, featuring Protocol debutants Simon De Jano & Madwill, Jimny and affiliate Exit Friendzone.
Simon de Jano & Madwill are both Italian rising stars. Introduced by Steve Angello at Miami Ultra Music Festival 2015, their track “Temptation” was released on Size Records, reached the No. 1 position on the Beatport Progressive-House chart in just one week and has been used as the anthem for the official Tomorrowland Brasil 2016 Teaser. The multiple collaborations between both had made them one of the most promising, non-official duos in the scene.
Their remix of “Coming Alive” can be described with the perfect word – groove. Both known for delivering quality, this electro house bomb will have dance floors throbbing around the globe. The summer-infused lead, alongside the whispering vocals of River present versatility, that could fit perfectly in both the festival environment and the late night club dance-floor.
