Premiere: Lucky Charmes – Bobotie

Netherland based Lucky Charmes has been on fire lately. Between remixes for Galantis and Mr. Probz, continuing his Mix Marathons for Slam!FM and popping up on top labels such as Musical Freedom or Spinnin’ Records, it’s safe to say that Lucky Charmes has created quite the buzz for himself within the global house scene. For his latest release, he arrives to Spinnin’s seminal Spinnin’ Deep imprint with a full-on release of his own: a blazing summer tune entitled Bobotie.

“Bobotie” is something special, an eyes-closed groover with sparkling heat lines, hot synths and rhythmic beats that take the listener on a cerebral journey across the dancefloor.

“There’s always that one song that reminds you of Ibiza!” Lucky Charmes explaines. “Played it for the first time during the opening of Martin Garrix’s Multiply at Ushuaia Ibiza couple of weeks ago and all I can say is….this moment was Magic!”

The Ibiza-inspired track is a brooding dancefloor concoction, with pulsating percussion and cunning spurts of delicate synths falling into a aestival soundscape. Simplistic in nature, “Bobotie” is a highly meditative piece guiding listeners into a savouring, chilled state. Lucky Charme’s newest gem will be released on August 8th on Spinnin’ Deep.
