Watch: Major Lazer provide Lollapalooza set in style

Major Lazer are a force to be reckoned with, throughout the music industry as a whole. Continuing to bridge the gap between the genre and mainstream success, they’ve set numerous records in the process.

The trio of Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Jillionaire has garnered a vast amount of success, especially over the past two years or so. With their chart-topping hit “Lean On” alongside DJ Snake and MØ, Major Lazer have certainly solidified their status as some of the top producers in today’s electronic music scene.

Continuing this momentum with their pending LP, its first single alongside Justin Bieber and MØ, “Cold Water” has topped charts and lists across the globe. Showcasing their distinctive sound with originality again and again, their sets also reflect why there is such popularity surrounding them.

Vibrant, choreographed and energizing, Major Lazer has a knack of adding to any atmosphere. Laying out over 45 tracks, much of which was their own, the trio set the Lollapalooza stage alight to their distinguished style.  Featuring ID remixes of Desiigner’s “Panda” and Calvin Harris’ collaboration with Rihanna, “This Is What You Came For”, they even threw in their remix of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ hit “Can’t Hold Us”.
