Diplo teases huge collaboration with Ariana Grande

With the recent release of Major Lazer’s newest single “Cold Water”, featuring Justin Beiber and vocals by MØ, only time will tell what other tracks actually make it to the groups newest studio album, Music Is The Weapon. Rumored to have a said 40 records under their belt, Major Lazer’s leading man, Diplo, surely has his work cut out for him in the coming months. “Cold Water”, which hit Spotify’s number one spot within 4 days of its release, foretells that the rest of the tracks he does decide to go with, will be nothing short of perfection. With artists Sia, Usher, Travi$ Scott and more, I guess we’ll all have to keep waiting for its January 2017 release.

Among those under suspicion as of today however, is pop icon, Ariana Grande. Released on Snapchat earlier today, the star seems to be in the studio harmonizing some vocals for Diplo behind what sounds to be Moombahton inspired undertone. Over the course of the mini-clip, it shows a funny, yet tempered, Ariana who ends the video with some minor vulgarity.

There are no other indicators of the two collaborating, but this might be a great sign for what surprises Diplo, and the rest of Major Lazer, have in store.
