Marc Volt is rapidly acquiring support from the industry’s high-flying names. And earning the praise the young Dutch talent can now lay claim to comes as no small feat.

With the likes of Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Afrojack and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike taking a liking towards his dirtier vibes and bass orientation, Marc Volt’s work has started to emerge into their sets. Galantis even recently featured his remix of Daft Punk’s “One More Time” alongside Magnificence, reflecting the high-quality nature of his composition, production and mastering.

Premiering his latest offering on We Rave You, “Microwaved Elephants” has an eye-catching name that is equally backed up by the music. Opening up with the tracks crisp bass that acts a solid foundation, the deep drawn chord that rises slowly adds a dimension to the rising melody. Inserting subtle FX to signify a progression, the emerging snippets of sounds compliment the signatory elephant bellow.

Synchronizing with the tempo-rising beat sequence, the drop of bass brings a pulsating kick to the atmosphere. Masterfully broken down during the bridge with a windpipe melody, Marc Volt brings a wholesome dynamic to the track. Overall, reflecting the esteemed level of synth manipulation he has executed.

Having already garnered support from DubVision, Promise Land and even the reputed Paul Oakenfold, “Microwaved Elephants” is certainly a stellar signing for Mezsed Up and its label head, DJ/Producer Adrien Mezsi. Further expanding their talented roster of emerging artists, we are excited to see what Marc Volt and Mezsed Up have to offer in the future!
