Swedish maestro Steve Angello returned to his BBC Radio 1 residency with music from across the wide electronic spectrum. After kick-starting the year with curating a new roster including Oliver Heldens and Nina Kraviz, as well as welcoming back Steve Angello among names such as George Fitzgerald, James Blake or Heidi, BBC Radio 1 remains a magnetic force within electronic dance music. Returning to the radio station this week, Angello opted to take listeners on a journey through his current favourites.

Along with some own classics from his ealier days such as his take on Congorock‘s “Babylon”, Steve Angello assembles a stunning 2 hour mix for his latest BBC Radio 1 Residency. Sticking with some of dance music’s current bangers, the show consists of tracks from the likes of Dirty South, Prok & Fitch, Kölsch, MEG / NERAK, Thomas Feelman and Teamworx. The mix opens up with Klahr’s devine take on Dirty South’s “All Of Us” and also features Mark Knight‘s summer anthem “Yebisah”. Overall, this gem-packed mix has the perfect set of versatile tracks that will attract any listener. Steve Angello proves once again, that he always manages to contain the right amount of punch in every single mix that would make anyone dance from start to finish.
