Home Uncategorized MOTi & Maurice West – Disco Weapon

Dutch prodigy MOTi is back to Musical Freedom with one of hisĀ feistiest tracks to date. Teaming up with young rising start Maurice West, the pair joined forces to create the monstrous “Disco Weapon”.

Heavily supported by Tiesto, MOTi has quickly grown into one of the most promising names in the industry. Having scored collaborations with top superstars such as Musical Freedom’s head-honcho himself, as well as Martin Garrix, Quintino, Blasterjaxx, to name a few, the dutch DJ and producer is setting extremely high expectations for the future. With 2016 being his most successful year to date, MOTi unveils his third release on Musical Freedom this year, as well as headlining spots at some of the biggest events in the world.

Maurice West, on the other hand, is still headed to starlight, as his name first appeared on the horizon last year after winning a remix contest of Headhunterz’s “To Be Me”. With this achievement jump-starting his career, he has already left his mark on labels such as Armada Trice & Mainstage Music, making him one of the upcoming stars to watch.

“Disco Weapon” is a true dancefloor missile. Kicking off right from the start, the tune showcases a Daft Punk inspired synth and powerful tech-infused beats, quickly building up into an absolute bomb of a drop.Ā Dynamic and fiery percussions battling with dubstep-inspired punches team up to create aĀ vigorous lead of pounding energy, cooling down into a beautiful, melodic riff in the breaks. Not sparing any power, the track is a true stand-out among the current releases, showcasing class cut-edge production techniques byĀ both producers.

Just finishing up with an Ultra marathon in Tokyo, Manila and Singapore, MOTi is yet to conquer dancefloors withĀ “Disco Weapon”. The track is out now via Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label, so make sure you grab it from here.
