Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix Teams Up with Bebe Rexha for Epic Live Performance

As part of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge month, Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha joined forces for a live performance of their hit single ‘In The Name of Love‘ as well as a cover of ‘Heathens‘ by 21 Pilots. With Martin on the guitar and Bebe’s hypnotic vocals, this stellar performance certainly stood out as one of the most unique Live Lounges Radio 1 has ever seen.

In contrast to Garrix’s usual live performances, the Live Lounge saw ‘In the Name of Love’ completely stripped back, showcasing Bebe’s vocals and portraying the track in a completely different style. The performance definitely gave fans something they haven’t heard or seen before, while exposing the pure talent of both artists.

Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha recently collaborated on their track ‘In The Name of Love’ which went viral worldwide, quickly becoming one of 2016’s most memorable summer anthems. The song was positively received, both by fans and critics, climbing to the top of Garrix’s most played songs on Spotify.

While being interviewed, Martin talks about how he started producing, and explains that playing the guitar is not new to him, it is the core of how he got into music production.

“I started on the guitar writing my own songs and then I saw a computer programme and put my guitar melodies in there and that’s how I started producing music”
