The biggest music conference in the world – ADE is very close to shaping up the full Festival schedule for their 2016th edition. With more than 2000 performers every year, Amsterdam will be turning into the dance capital of the world from October 19th to October 23rd.

Hundreds of club nights are hosted each night, converting the dutch capital into the biggest music venue, presenting a wild variety of choices to satisfy one’s music needs. However picking the best of all can often be a challenge, so we took upon highlighting 5 parties every day that you shouldn’t miss.

Here is our pick for Day 1.

Wednesday, October 19th

In Trance We Trust – trance lovers are not to miss this one, as Menno de Jong presents his annual ITWT event, showcasing the best of established and rising stars in the melodic genre. Expanding to 3 stages, Westerunie and Westerliefde will turn into the home of imprints such as Mental Asylum, Grotesque and ITWT itself. Some of the artist performing include Sean Tyas, John Askew, John O’Callaghan, Indecent Noise, RAM, to name a few.

Oliver Heldens presents Heldeep – Future House trend-setter Oliver Heldens will take on several performances throughout the week, with a highligjt being his Heldeep night, showcasing the best of upcoming talents, as well as sets from himself and his alter ego – HI-LO. Whilst full lineup is still to be announced, HI-LO is a reason enough for you to be there.

AMF Official Opening: TOP100DJs – If you want to be the first to hear the first set of the new DJ #1 in the world, this is the place to be. Hosting a glamour night with an actual awards ceremony, DJ Mag are in charge of bringing you the best in production and visuals at Heineken Music Hall on the opening night of ADE. Walk down the red carpet alongside the biggest names in the Electronic Dance Music industry.

Awakenings X Figure – Techno being a particular highlight during ADE, Awakenings are sure to know how to treat their loyal fan base. Len Faki taking upon the opening night has put together a stellar lineup with hot picks such as RødhÃ¥d, Blawan, live performances by Octave One & Jeroen Search, as well as upcoming names such as Cleric & Roman Poncet.

Nicky Romero & Friends – Protocol Recordings has quickly grown into one of the most prestigious imprints in the world. For a 5th consecutive year, label head-honcho Nicky Romero has put together a high class line-up, bringing you the responsible for some of the best music released last year. Highlighted names include Nicky himself, Yves V, Florian Picasso, Blinders, as well as secret surprise guests, who  included Don Diablo, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren in the past.
