The Chainsmokers hint at a possibility of an album in future

Fresh off their explosive headlining set at New York’s Electric Zoo, The Chainsmokers took to Twitter today where they announced some pretty big news. The duo shared the possibility for an upcoming album, and with all the success surrounding these EDM trailblazers this past year, any inclination of one is obviously having a impact on their fans.

Although not confirmed, they did make it a point through a thread that if they do decide upon an album release, it would be because of their fans. To them, an album isn’t just another way to gain exposure, it came across clearly that it would need to stand as a milestone, and highlight just what they’ve set out to do since their debut back in 2012.
