There is not much to think about when it comes to the question of one of the most iconic collaborations in latest Dance Music history other than hand over the title to the masterpiece that ‘I Remember,’ Kaskade & Deadmau5‘ 2008 collaboration was. The almost 10-minute mark touching vocal mix was undoubtedly one of the tracks which hailed the arrival of Electronic Music to the forefront of the world of Music in general. Assisted by often invoked American singer Haley Gibby on the vocals and  Finn Bjarnson, who is one-fourth of the mesmerizing quartet of Late Night Alumni, the American group who worked with Kaskade (who is a part of the four) on the charming track ‘Why Ask Why‘.

And now that the original from Deadmau5 and Kaskade turns 8 years old, it can be said with reassurance that there hasn’t yet been another collaboration of a similar level which either got reception like their track got or possess the potential to be a work of such originality. The almost Trance like state that the track transforms your surroundings into is an aspect absent from a majority of releases of the prevalent industry. And that is precisely what embodies the idea of being an artist for producers like Zimmerman and Kaskade – to create a piece of work that is hard, even impossible, to emulate. A quick listen is not enough to appreciate how the track has dominated the charts and hearts for the years till now, go on and give it the time it requires.
