Flume announces release of follow up EP, ‘Skin’ companion

Big news for Flume fans as the Australian producer announces a follow up to his latest album, Skin. The new EP, Skin Companion, will include a slue of tracks Flume created during the process of Skin, all which completely justify his craftsmanship and rank in the EDM vast musical world. This EP will be pressed to vinyl, something new for 2016 fans, and will be sold to specific vendors worldwide. Dated to distribute by late November of this year, the 12″ record includes 4 songs: “Trust”, “V”, “Heater”, and “Quirk”.

From the preview posted by Record Store Day, each single seems to resemble Flume’s iconic, experimental genre, and unique vocal structure. With Skin being referred to as one of the best albums of this year, I think it’s safe to say the predecessor will be no different.

“I’ve been overwhelmed by the support you guys have shown for Skin over the past few months and I wanted to share some more music that was written around the same time. The first Skin Companion EP is a 12″ of songs we are releasing in November. It will be available on vinyl at lots of great indie record stores around the world – Rough Trade, Phonica, Turntable Lab, Oye, Amoeba, Juno, Boomkat, Red Eye and many more.”
