Ridney, one of Southhampton’s brightest exports, has achieved a vast amount of success throughout his entire career. The house DJ and producer is a three-time winner of the esteemed “Essential New Tune” award on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection. Ridney has also worked with several of dance music’s prominent labels including Size Records, Spinnin’ Records, and Ministry of Sound.

As a DJ, Ridney has traveled all across Europe performing at major venues such as Ushuaïa and Pacha. With this many accomplishments in hand, however, the U.K.-based talent has not shown any signs of slowing down as proven by his latest release on the record label Youth Control. Titled “Heaven”, this brand new track features the vocals of British soul and pop singer Andy Muscat.

The original record presents an impeccable combination of Ridney’s riveting house instrumentals and Muscat’s astounding vocals. Consisting of some heart-pumping beats topped with a series of oscillating melodies and synths, this track is quite a treat to hear from start to finish and effectively displays the type of high-caliber talent Ridney truly is.

Along with this release, a couple of remixes from Disco Despair and Tenfoot are included as a 3-track EP. Disco Despair provides a more downbeat progressive house rendition of the original track, added with a little sprinkle of disco flavor. Tenfoot also delivers a brilliant remix of Ridney’s tune with his energetic and groovy club sounds.

The EP is out now and you can download your copy from iTunes here or stream from Spotify below.
