Volt & State announce retirement via heartfelt Facebook message

Anyone following the dance music scene for the last few years would’ve definitely come across a Volt & State track and instantly fallen in love with it. Sadly, the duo just announced on their Facebook that they intend to end their ever so successful project after consulting their friends, family and others in the industry.

The duo are known for consistently delivering progressive and electro house masterpieces and for all their releases on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and that time has come for the Volt & State project. Martijn and Quirijn have stated that they’ll still be working in the industry in some way or another, perhaps in the form of other music projects so there’s still a ray of hope!
