Nicky Romero is amassing a fair number of notable anniversaries this year, and rightly so. Reflective of the depth and caliber of his dance music portfolio, his influence on the distinctive tracks of the genre is undeniable.

Working with the likes of the The Script and Nile Rodger’s in recent times, his desire to try something new have been reflective for a number of years, with “Sound of the Underground” (S.O.T.U) a spitting example of it.

One of the more influential duo’s in the world of house music, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have featured on nearly every major label within the dance music scene. From Aramda, to Size, to Spinnin’ and far beyond, tracks such as “Don’t Make Me Wait” and “Horny Bounce” have continued their ascendancy within the international industry. Undeterred by the trends and constrictions of genre’s they’ve always been a charismatic duo of enthused passion for both their music and fans.

Accumulating a million views to date, Nicky Romero and his collaboration alongside Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano recruited the vocal talents of Fast Eddie in a masterstroke of musical craftsmanship. Releasing on SIZE Records, the track was played by industry leading Steve Angello for several both in most of his performances. Pulsating with its vibrant and edgy drum rhythms, the crisp vocal chopping and deep, distorted synths brought about an eerie-yet-fulfilling atmosphere. Employing the vocal layer as a tool more than overlay, the masterful mastering as it were can still be indulged to a high satisfaction today.
